About DaVibe

DaVibe is a privacy-focused mood dropping app developed by CRISPPIE STUDIO OÜ, an indie studio based in Estonia.

Information We Don't Collect

DaVibe is designed to be completely private. We do NOT collect:

• Your mood entries or words
• Your emotional patterns, archetypes, or wrap summaries
• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Location data or GPS information
• Contact lists or other device content
• Biometric data or voice recordings
• Any other personal or sensitive information

Information We May Process

Premium Purchase Data: When you buy our in-app purchase, Google Play handles all payment processing. We only receive confirmation of purchase status through Google Play's secure billing system. No payment details reach us.

Technical Error Data: If the app crashes, minimal technical information may be sent to Google Play Console to help us fix bugs. This contains no personal content.

Google Drive Backup & Restore (Premium Feature)

DaVibe Premium users may optionally use Google Drive backup and restore. When you use this feature:

• You explicitly sign in with your Google account and grant permission
• Your mood data is uploaded to a private folder ("DaVibe Backup") on your own Google Drive
• The backup file is stored in your personal Google Drive. CRISPPIE STUDIO OÜ cannot access it
• We use the drive.file scope, which means DaVibe can only access files it created. Not your other Drive files
• You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from the app settings
• Google's own privacy policy applies to data stored on Google Drive

This feature is entirely optional. You are never required to use cloud backup and restore, and the app functions fully without it.

Third-Party Content Services

DaVibe does not integrate with advertising networks or analytics platforms. The app connects to external services only for:

• Google Play Services: In-app purchase processing, anonymous crash reporting, and app distribution/updates
• Google Sign-In & Drive API: Only when you explicitly enable Google Drive backup and restore (premium feature)
• Google Fonts: The app loads fonts (Outfit, Playfair Display) via Google Fonts provider on your device

"This app also contains Pixabay audio content": The app includes notification sounds licensed from Pixabay. These remain within the app and are not transmitted externally.

App Permissions

DaVibe requests the following permissions to provide its core functionality:

Core App Functionality

• Boot Receiver (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): To restore your scheduled reminders when the app is reopened after a phone restart
• Exact Alarm Permission (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): To deliver reminders at precise times you set
• Notification Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To send reminder notifications for your memories
• Wake Lock (WAKE_LOCK): To ensure reminders work reliably
• Vibration (VIBRATE): To provide haptic feedback for notifications

Purchase & External Services

• Internet Permission (INTERNET): Required for Google Play Services, Google Drive backup and restore
• Billing Permission (BILLING): To process in-app purchases through Google Play

Important Notes

• All permissions are used solely for improving your app experience
• You can disable notifications in your device settings if desired
• Internet is used exclusively for Google Play Services, optional Google Drive backup and restore, and social media links. No user data is transmitted to our servers
• No mood data or personal content is ever transmitted without your explicit action (i.e., choosing to use Google Drive backup and restore) outside your device except for Google Play purchase confirmations

Data Storage

All your mood drops, weekly wraps, monthly wraps, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Your data:

• Is never transmitted to our servers or any external service (unless you choose Google Drive backup and restore)
• Is not accessible to CRISPPIE STUDIO OÜ or any third parties
• Remains entirely under your control

"Your Backup Is Your Responsibility": Since we cannot access your data, you are responsible for backing up your history using the app's Export feature (premium) or Google Drive Backup feature (premium) and keeping them safe.

Share Cards

DaVibe lets you create and share visual mood cards (drop cards, story cards, weekly/monthly wrapped cards). When you share:

• The share card image is generated locally on your device
• Sharing uses your device's standard share sheet. We do not control where you share
• No share data is sent to CRISPPIE STUDIO OÜ
• You are responsible for any content you choose to share publicly

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device by default, the security of it depends on your device's protection and your habits. We recommend:

• Using device lock screens (PIN, password, fingerprint)
• Keeping your device's operating system updated
• Being mindful of device access permissions
• Only installing apps from trusted sources

Your Data Rights

As a company based in Estonia (EU), we respect your privacy and give you control over your data:

• Right of Access: Your data stays on your device, or on your own Google Drive if you choose to back it up
• Right to Erasure: Uninstall the app to remove all local data

International Users

We don't collect personal data directly. However, third-party services such as Google Play Services and Google Drive (if used) may process data independently and may be subject to different privacy laws in your jurisdiction.

Age Requirements

DaVibe is intended for users aged 18 and older.

By using DaVibe, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We will update this policy if our practices change. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.
