Majhi Privacy Policy

About Majhi

Majhi is a short single-player narrative game developed and published by CRISPPIE STUDIO OÜ, an indie studio registered in Estonia. It is distributed on Steam, Google Play, and the Apple App Store.

This policy explains what data the game handles. It applies to all versions of Majhi on all platforms. Where a platform behaves differently, that difference is described below.

Information We Do Not Collect

Majhi does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number
• Account credentials. The game has no sign-up and no login of its own
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioural data
• Location or GPS data
• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
• Your in-game choices, your verdict, or which ending you reached

The game contains no advertising and no third-party advertising.

Majhi Does Not Save Your Progress

Majhi has no save system. It is a short game intended to be played in a single sitting, and closing it returns you to the beginning next time.

A few very small files are written to the game's own private storage on your device:

• Your choice of language, English or Bangla, so the game opens in it next time
• On Android, a record of whether the full game has been unlocked, so that you are not asked to buy it twice
• A record of which achievements you have unlocked, so the game does not report the same one repeatedly
• A technical log of any warnings the game produced while running, which helps us diagnose problems if you report one

None of these files contain personal information. None is transmitted to us, and we cannot read or recover any of them. Uninstalling the game deletes all three.

Achievements

Majhi has three achievements. When you unlock one, the game reports it to the achievement service of the platform you are playing on, so that it appears on your profile:

• Steam: Steam Achievements, tied to your Steam account
• Google Play: Play Games Services, tied to your Play Games profile
• Apple App Store: Game Center, tied to your Apple account

What is sent is the identifier of the achievement and nothing else. The platform associates it with your account under its own privacy policy. We receive only anonymous aggregate statistics, such as what percentage of players unlocked a given achievement.

On mobile, these services may ask you to sign in to Play Games or Game Center. That sign-in is handled entirely by Google or Apple, and declining it does not affect your ability to play. The game works identically either way, and, on Android, your full-game purchase is unaffected.

On Android, the Google sign-in screen lists the permissions Play Games Services requests. These come from Google's own SDK rather than from anything Majhi asks for, and they include access to your Play Games activity and to a private configuration area in your Google Drive.

Majhi has no cloud save feature, does not use that storage, and cannot see any other file in your Drive. The permission is requested by the SDK whether or not a game uses it.

Purchases

All payments are processed by the platform you bought the game on. We never receive, see, or store your card details, billing address, or any other payment information.

Steam

Majhi is a paid game on Steam. Valve handles the purchase, and we receive only aggregated, anonymised sales figures through Steamworks. These figures do not identify individual customers.

Apple App Store

Majhi is a paid game on the App Store. Apple handles the purchase, and we receive only aggregated, anonymised sales figures through App Store Connect. These figures do not identify individual customers.

Google Play

Majhi is free to download on Android, with an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full game. Google Play Billing handles the transaction. The game receives only a confirmation that the purchase is valid, so that it knows whether to unlock the content. This confirmation is handled on your device and is not sent to us.

Restoring a previous purchase on a new device is handled entirely by Google Play using your Google account. We are not involved in that process and see nothing about it.

Crash Reports

If Majhi crashes, the platform you are playing on may automatically send a technical crash report to its own developer console. Google Play Console, App Store Connect, or Steamworks. These reports are generated and delivered by the platform, not by us.

Crash reports contain technical information such as the device model, operating system version, and where in the code the crash occurred. They contain no personal information and none of your game content. We use them only to fix bugs.

You can usually disable automatic crash and diagnostic reporting in your device's system settings.

Permissions and Network Access

Majhi requests the minimum permissions needed to run.

• Billing (Android only): to process the optional in-app purchase through Google Play
• Network access: used only for reporting achievement unlocks and, on Android, for verifying that purchase with Google Play. The game does not otherwise connect to the internet

Majhi does not request access to your storage, location, contacts, camera, or microphone.

Third-Party Platforms

The stores that distribute Majhi collect their own data under their own policies, independently of us. This is outside our control, and their policies apply to you as their customer:

• Valve Corporation: for the Steam version, including Steam Achievements
• Google LLC: for the Google Play version, including Play Games Services
• Apple Inc.: for the App Store version, including Game Center

We recommend reading the privacy policy of whichever platform you use.

Age Requirements

Majhi is a story about death and includes descriptions of violence. It is not directed at children. Please check the age rating shown on the store page for your platform before buying or playing.

Your Data Rights

As a company based in Estonia (EU), we respect your privacy and give you control over your data:

• Right of Access: We hold no personal data about you. What little the game stores stays on your own device
• Right to Erasure: Uninstalling the game removes all local data from your device

If you want to exercise rights over data held by Valve, Google, or Apple, including your achievement records, you will need to contact them directly, as they are the controllers of that data.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy if our practices change. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.
