Majhi Privacy Policy

About Majhi

Majhi is a short single-player narrative game developed by CRISPPIE STUDIO OÜ, an indie studio registered in Estonia. It is distributed on Steam, Google Play, and the Apple App Store.

This policy explains what data the game handles. It applies to all versions of Majhi on all platforms. Where a platform behaves differently, that difference is described below.

Information We Do Not Collect

Majhi does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number
• Account credentials. The game has no sign-up and no login
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioural data
• Location or GPS data
• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
• Your in-game choices, endings, or progress

The game contains no advertising and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Your Save Data

Majhi saves your progress locally on the device you are playing on. This includes your position in the story and any choices you have made.

• Save data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us
• We cannot read, access, or recover your save data
• Uninstalling the game may permanently delete it

On Steam, if you have Steam Cloud enabled for Majhi, your save data may additionally be synchronised to your Steam account by Valve. That synchronisation is handled entirely by Valve under Valve's own privacy policy, and we have no access to it. You can turn Steam Cloud off for the game at any time in your Steam library settings.

Purchases

All payments are processed by the platform you bought the game on. We never receive, see, or store your card details, billing address, or any other payment information.

Steam

Majhi is a paid game on Steam. Valve handles the purchase, and we receive only aggregated, anonymised sales figures through Steamworks. These figures do not identify individual customers.

Google Play and Apple App Store

Majhi is free to download on mobile, with an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full game. Google Play Billing and Apple's in-app purchase system handle the transaction. The game receives only a confirmation that the purchase is valid, so that it knows whether to unlock the content. This confirmation is handled on your device and is not sent to us.

Restoring a previous purchase on a new device is handled entirely by the store using your Google or Apple account. We are not involved in that process and see nothing about it.

Crash Reports

If Majhi crashes, the platform you are playing on may automatically send a technical crash report to its own developer console. Google Play Console, App Store Connect, or Steam. These reports are generated and delivered by the platform, not by us.

Crash reports contain technical information such as the device model, operating system version, and where in the code the crash occurred. They contain no personal information and none of your game content. We use them only to fix bugs.

You can usually disable automatic crash and diagnostic reporting in your device's system settings.

Permissions and Network Access

Majhi requests the minimum permissions needed to run.

• Billing (mobile only): to process the optional in-app purchase through Google Play or Apple
• Network access (mobile only): used exclusively for verifying that purchase with the store. The game does not otherwise connect to the internet

Majhi does not request access to your storage, location, contacts, camera, or microphone. The game is fully playable offline once the purchase has been verified.

Third-Party Platforms

The stores that distribute Majhi collect their own data under their own policies, independently of us. This is outside our control, and their policies apply to you as their customer:

• Valve Corporation: for the Steam version
• Google LLC: for the Google Play version
• Apple Inc.: for the App Store version

We recommend reading the privacy policy of whichever platform you use.

Children

Majhi is a story about death and includes descriptions of violence. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. Please check the age rating shown on the store page for your platform before buying or playing.

Your Rights Under GDPR

CRISPPIE STUDIO OÜ is based in Estonia and subject to the General Data Protection Regulation. Because Majhi does not collect personal data, there is in practice nothing for us to hold, disclose, correct, or erase:

• Right of access: we hold no personal data about you
• Right to erasure: uninstalling the game removes all local data from your device
• Right to object or restrict processing: no processing of personal data takes place

If you want to exercise rights over data held by Valve, Google, or Apple, you will need to contact them directly, as they are the controllers of that data.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy if the game's data practices change. For example, if a future update adds a feature that requires new permissions. The date at the bottom of this page always shows when it was last revised. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
